Peacefully passed away on Friday, November 9th in Kirkland at the age of 91. She will be dearly missed by her children Linda (Barry), Stephen (Nicole), her grandchildren Raymond, Darren, Kim, Vicky and Joey, her 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff at the West Island Palliative Care residence and the nurses and PAB's at the Lakeshore General hospital for the special care Betty received. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home on Sunday, November 18 from 1pm to 3pm followed by a celebration of her life in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
