It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Emilia Caravaggio at the age of 52. She will be sadly missed by her husband Nicolino Basciani, her daughter Vanessa (Michael), her son Steven, her parents Assunta and Sandro Caravaggio, her sister Maria (Brian), her father in law Modesto Basciani, her brother-in-law and her two sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m, and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Tuesday, January 22, as of 8:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Church. Burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Enbrigde Ride to Conquer Cancer (www.conquercancer.ca/mcaravaggio). All donations will go towards the Brain Cancer research benefiting the Segal Cancer Center at The Jewish General Hospital.
