The “Captain” was a native son of Wolfe Island, Ontario. He peacefully passed away while at the palliative care unit of the Jewish General Hospital on Sunday, July 29 2012. He is survived by a loving wife of the past 53 years (Rita), 2 children (Joanne & Fred), son-in law (Daniel) & his grandsons who were his pride and joy (Tyler & Brandon). He was a noble merchant marine & an honourable member of the Knights of Columbus local 284. A special thank you to all staff in the ENT department, the 4 NW, 4 W & 4 Main of the JGH for their devotion & constant care of our beloved Captain.

Fleming White’s memorial services shall be held with funeral services on Friday, August 3 at 10:00 am at the Ste-Suzanne parish located at 9501 Gouin Boulevard in Pierrefonds & with an evening showing at the RIDEAU Funeral Home at 4275 Sources Boulevard on Thursday evening, August 2 from 7 pm to 9 pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to MJ Black Head & Neck fellowship endowment Fund at the Jewish General Hospital Pav. E-904, 3755 Chemin Cote Ste-Catherine, Montreal, Qc, H3T 1E2 in the name of Captain White would be greatly appreciated.
