PANICONI Giuseppe
1937-2018
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Giuseppe Paniconi, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. The heart and soul of our family has passed at the age of 81 on July 5th at 4:28 pm at St Jude’s Residence. He will forever remain in our hearts.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Giuseppina Lastoria, his sons Rico (Carmela), Mauro (Rita), his 5 cherished grandchildren Julia (Andrew), Amanda (Nadim), Joseph, Evan, and Nicolas, along with his sister, brother, sister in law, brother in law, nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
Born on February 9th, 1937 he grew up in the Molise region of Italy. With an affinity for good taste, he became a tailor early on, then immigrated to Canada with his family in search of a better life. He started to build his life in Montreal, married Pina Lastoria in 1960, and started his family. His family was unequivocally his pride and joy. Giuseppe was always impeccably dressed, with a strong sense of fashion. A true artist, he used many modalities to communicate his creativity and his thoughts. His passion transcended all he did and enjoyed - music, soccer, painting, gardening, cooking, films
