MITCHELL, James

Jim passed away as he lived with dignity and gentleness after a courageous battle with cancer on December 13th, 2012 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Sheena. He will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren, as well as his extended family Brenda (Alex), Drew (Sandra) and children, Alexander (Sylvi) and children, Joan (Phil), Lee and Dale and especially missed by his little friend Scotty.

Jim’s passion was Freemasonary, Past Master of the Royal Edward Lodge #90. Past D.D.G.M District #1, Quebec Ambassador to the Grand Lodge of South Africa. Companion of the Mount Lebanon- Lakeshore #20. Companion of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Mason of Quebec and Past Patron Fidelity Chapter #55 Order of the Eastern Star.
A Masonic and a Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 17th, 2012 from 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514) 685-3344. In lieu of flowers, donations to NOVA West Island would be appreciated.
