It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Barry Keating on July 17, 2012 at the age of 90 at his home in Saint Sauveur, Quebec. Beloved husband of Louise (nee Robitaille) and loving father of Claire, Joan, Diane, William, Kevin and grandfather of Christina, Elizabeth, Kevin and Alexander. Kevin is survived by his brothers and sisters; Ailleen, Geraldine, Kathleen, William, Michael and Chris. He was renowned for Keating Ford, which he founded in 1961 and grew into a Montreal institution that supported numerous Verdun charities and sports teams. Friends may pay respects with the family at Maison Funeraire Trudel at 214 Rue Principale, St.-Sauveur on Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 11am to 4 pm. The family thanks Dr. AG Maclean for his special care. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Red Cross.
