Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on December 7, 2012 in Trois-Rivières.
Spouse to Hilarion «Larry» Chiasson and mother to Donna-Lee (Theo Kalaitzis), Jo-Ann (Terry Mitchell), Carol (Yves Roy), Robert (Lesley Gunn), and Nancy.
Family will receive condolences at Complexe funéraire J.D Garneau, 274 St Laurent, Trois-Rivières (Cap-de-la-Madeleine) G8T 6G7
Visitation hours: Monday, December 10, from 7 to 10 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 11 at 11 am at St Patrick Church, 340 Whitehead, Trois-Rivières thence to Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Cemetery for the interment.
She also leaves in grief her grandchildren Tyler (Kathy), Ashley (Kyle) Alexandra (Graig), Vicky, Adam, Jordan, Austin, Pamela, Eric, and Dany. She was the second mom to René Michaud, and Isabelle Lamirande, sister to Ruth Osborne and Phoebe Comeau (Roland), sister in law to Thérèse Lamirande, Charles Chiasson, Laurent Chiasson (Marthe), and Roger Chiasson (Gisèle). Special friend to Augusta Fenton, Rita Poirier and Elisabeth Lee. She will be also dearly remembered as a special, kind person by numerous friends, acquaintances and to all those who were part of her life and enjoyed her company.
The family would like to give special thanks to her «lady» Micheline Brabant, Julie Fortin and Isabelle Lafrenière for their attentiveness and caring.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Ste Marie’s hospital emergency staff and the 4C cardiology staff and express special gratitude to Dr Denise Beauchemin and Dr Marie-Ève Arsenault for their gentle care.
Lilly was a great person. She was a member of the Whitehead senior club, a gardener, a traveler, one who saw kindness in everyone and beauty in everything. She was an easy person to please and a lovely person to be around. Lilly was the best «mommy», «granny» and friend you could ask for. She can now join all her late beloved family members and friends to whom she daily prayed to and fell asleep thinking of.
