WHITMORE née TREMBLAY, Madeleine
1924 - 2012
Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her parents: Adrien Tremblay and Maria Bélair, her husband, Aurèle Whitmore; two grandchild: Michel Jr. and Marc; two sisters: Gabrielle and Françoise; two son-in-law: Dennis Beaupré and Serge Bogé. Loving mother of Michel (Lucie Sabourin), Hélène, Lise (Marcel Pilon), Diane and Suzanne. Cherished grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Also survived by one brother, François; three sisters: Thérèse (Paul Gagnon), Adrienne (Gérard Whalen) and Claire (Jean-Marie Scrive) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. VISITATIONS: there will be no visitations at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held on Saturday, December 1st, at 11:00 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church, corner of Bégin and Prévost Street, Gatineau, QC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive your condolences after the funeral service. DONATIONS: to the Canadian Cancer Society, 15, Buteau Street, #105, Gatineau, QC., J8Z 1V3, would be appreciated. THANKS: The family wants to thanks all the staff of ‘La Résidence Notre-Dame’, all the staff of the 6th floor West of Hull Hospital for their good care and dedication and especially to Marie-Josée Vaillancourt.
