Peter graduated from l'Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal and the Parsons school of design in New York.

He returned to Montreal in the early 60's and turned his artistic hand to fashion and design. He collaborated with Leo Chevalier, Irving Samuels and Joshar. He achieved recognition and admiration for his body of work in the 80's and 90's.

Peter was a true friend to all who knew him but served as a loyal opposition to anything he deemed phony, pedantic, ignorant and foolish.

He was a true renaissance man. He loved socializing, gourmet cooking, sketching, gardening, and raising pure bred puppies and carrier pigeons.

He loved holding court at Winnie's in the afternoons.

Much scotch will be spilled in his memory in the days to come, toasting his colorful and unique personality.
