MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Teresa De Lucia. Loving wife of the late Pellegrino Paternostro and proud mother of Giuseppe (Joan) and Maria (Frank). She was the very proud grandmother to Sabrina, Jessica (Jeff), Corrado, Adriano and Sasha. She is survived by her sister Letizia and by her brother Umberto (Flora) and family in Montreal, Italy and U.S.A. Teresa was born on January 21, 1923 in San Lorenzo, Italy. She immigrated to Montreal in April 1953. With courage and hard work she succeeded to do what she was most proud of, building a home and raising her children. She opened her home to her extended family and friends, spread her warmth by creating wonderful memories for all. She was passionate about her family, and past on to her children compassion, loyalty and the joy of discovering new things. Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday morning as of 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church thence to The Laval Cemetery, 5505 Chemin Bas St-François.
