CORVO Adamo Nicola
1933-2024
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.Nicola Corvo, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Nicola was born in 1933 to the late Michele Corvo and the late Angela Barbadoro in Guglionesi, Italy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosa, his three children Michele (Linda), Angela (Luigi) and Antoinette (Khanh); six grandchildren Simona (Joseph), Adam (Rose), Nicolas (Maya), Daniel, Francesca, Matteo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Nicola is also survived by his sisters Nicoletta and Maddalena. He is preceded in death by his brother and sister, Vincenzo and Rosina.
Nicola enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing at the cottage while having an ice cold beer, playing cards with friends and travels to his hometown in the summer and sunny destinations in the winter. He was an amateur carpenter, painter, plumber and used all these skills for his many renovation projects around the home.
He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years staying active through his daily morning trips to the gym and spending time with his grandchildren.
Most importantly, Nicola loved the people in his life. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren who in turn loved him immensely. Forever remembered, forever missed.
We are grateful for the exemplary care he received at the Jewish General Hospital.
We request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the hospital.
