1933-2023
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.“She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith. Now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness...” from 2 Timothy 4:7-8a
Joan (Hollis) McGuire went home to be with the LORD on August 10, 2023 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Brian McGuire (2020). Joan is survived by her daughters Debbie (Denis Legault), Linda (Wesley Robinson), Mary (John Brisebois), and Nancy (Peter Laekas), and an extended family of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A retired Pastor from Christian Restoration Centre, she will also be missed by many whose lives were touched through her loving and compassionate ministry.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Saint Andrew Residential Centre for the warm and tenderhearted care they provided to Joan for the many year the residence was her home.
A private family Celebration of Life is planned in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrew Residential Centre.
