PINAZZA Linda
1968-2023
MAGNUS POIRIER INC.It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Linda Pinazza on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the age of 55.
Linda leaves to mourn her husband, Tony Giannascoli, daughter Sandra and son Davide, her mother Lina Pinazza, her brother Roberto (Patrizia Rizzo), her sister-in-law Adelina Giannascoli, her father-in-law Franco along with many beloved nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Linda was a devoted mother and wife. Her family and their well-being were her top priorities. Before being operated for brain cancer in 2017, she worked as the General Manager of Oink!Oink!, a toy store in Westmount, Quebec. She loved her job and she built many friendships with customers and suppliers over the years.
She was also a gifted athlete. Her competitive spirit shone through in everything that she did. Whether playing backgammon, card games, or individual and team sports, she always strove to win and be the best. She also loved to read and enjoyed collecting books.
Linda fought her battle with glioblastoma with courage. She never once complained about having to fight this disease and was brave until the end. She passed away surrounded by her immediate family.
The family would like to thank the entire team at the Montreal Neurological Institute, especially Dr. Kevin Petrecca, Alexandra Alfaiate-McKeown and Dr. Scott Owen for their amazing care.
Visitations will be held at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd. on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A ceremony will be held on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at 10 a.m. within the chapel of the complex and thence to The Cemetery of Laval.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Neuro (https://www.mcgill.ca/neuro/donate) would be greatly appreciated.
