In Montreal, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the age of 83 years passed away MARIA JOSÉ SILVA COSTA, beloved wife of the late HERMANO COSTA.
She will be sadly missed by her children Walter (Angela), Hermano (Anna), José Antonio (Madalena), Lizette (Sergio), Rui, Sandra (Pieter) and David (Suzy), her grandchildren Ashley, Justin, Chloe, Kayla, Derek, Joshua, Michael, Tyler, Hailey, Zachary, Nicholas, Matthew and Jason, her sisters Mariana and Arminda, her sister-in-law Ermelinda, her nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
The visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie-IX Blvd, Montreal North, on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4 pm to 9 pm, and Friday morning as of 10 am.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 12 pm in Saint-Ambroise Church, 1215 Beaubien St, Montreal. Burial to follow at Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Dr. José Morais for his devotion and compassionate care, as well all the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory for the Montreal General Hospital Foundation to the Division of Geriatrics (action.codevie.ca) and press “make donation” button, would be appreciated.
