It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of MARIA MOURA MELO, on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the age of 92, beloved wife of the late José Freitas Melo.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children the late Luis (Alice), Lourdes, the late Antonio (Conceição), Odette (Lynda), Auzirio (Maria), the late Nelia, Jose Manuel (Christine), Sergio (Lizette), her cherished grandchildren Tânia, Luis, Leo, Denys, Paulo, the late Filomeno, Marco, Jessica, Sébastien, Filipe, Sheela, Shawn, Jennifer, Joyce, Jeffrey, Matthew, Joshua, Michael, her 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, her siblings, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie IX Blvd, Montreal, H1H 3Z1 on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Monday morning as of 11:30 a.m..
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 13:30 p.m. at Saint-Ambroise Church, 1215 Beaubien St., Montreal. Burial to follow at Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
