HARVEY, Mrs. Muriel

1932-2024
On September 7, 2024, passed away Mrs. Muriel Harvey at the CHUS – Hôtel-Dieu in Sherbrooke, at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Norman Harvey and of the late Mabel McLaughlin. Also predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Miltimore and their two children Barry and Wendy.
Muriel was born on September 11, 1932, in Lemesurier, Quebec. As a child, she lives on a farm and moved with her family to Three Rivers. She eventually settled in Waterville with her husband Don with whom she remained married for over 60 years, and their children. She worked as a secretary and in accounting for many years, and developed many hobbies including gardening, various handicrafts, cooking, and touring craft fairs with her daughter. She loved animals and had many furry friends and did a lot of travelling with Don across Canada and the USA in their motorhome. Enjoying sharing hobbies, Muriel and Don were also members of the Tartan Twirlers square dancers and toured around to many events.
Muriel is mourned by her sister-in-law Margaret, Dave, her nieces and nephews, and is remembered as a friendly, kind and caring individual with the sweetest laugh.
The family chose to mourn privately.
