KEATING, Wilbert

The MAISON FUNERAIRE LEBLANC informs you that Wilbert Keating passed away on November 17th, 2024 at the age of 84 years.  He lived in Grosse Ile, Iles de la Madeleine.

He was the husband of the late Dolly Linda Chappel; the father of Pamela (late James), Lorraine (Lennie), Julia, Fostina (Paul), James (Liette) and Glen (Debbie); the grandfather of Bianca (Edouard), Kyle, Priscilla, Brenton, Shaunee (Alcide), Chelsea (Spencer), Jacob (Catherine), Bradley, Malorie, Eric, Megan (James) and Molly; the great-grandfather of Collin and Kenzie.

Wilbert was the son of the late Gordon Keating and the late Priscilla Clarke. He was predeceased by sisters Isabelle and Emily and brother Philip. He also leaves to mourn sister Lorraine, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences Thursday November 21st, 2024 at 12pm to 8pm at Holy Trinity Church in Grosse Ile. The religious service will be held on Friday November 22nd, 2024 at 3pm with visitation beginning at 11am. The burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A heartfelt thank you to the CLSC nurse, Tiffany, who came whenever she was needed and made us feel comfortable to care for dad at home.
